An enthusiastic Software Developer seeking an exciting development role. I endeavour to always deliver high-quality code, enjoy new challenges, and am experienced in agile methodologies. I have developed applications using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, as well as other frontend frameworks such as PowerBuilder, C++, Java, and Perl. I hold a First-Class Honours BSc in Computer Science and thrive in collaborative and dynamic work environments.
I graduated with First-Class Honours in Computing from IT Tallaght, where I honed my skills by developing various applications using Java, SQL, and C#. Since then, I have built extensive professional experience as a Frontend Developer, particularly during my time at Aspire Technology. In this role, I designed and delivered interactive dashboards for both internal and external use, including Alarm Analytics, Health Checks, and Energy Saving Dashboards. Leveraging tools such as Vue.js, Vuetify, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, I transformed large datasets retrieved from REST APIs into intuitive visualizations, deploying these solutions efficiently using Docker and AWS.
At Aspire, I worked closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations, including Dublin, Belgrade, and Lisbon, consistently delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines in an agile environment. This role sharpened my problem-solving abilities and allowed me to focus on delivering robust, maintainable, and high-performance software while effectively collaborating in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
In addition to my technical expertise, I bring strong customer-facing experience and proven task management skills from my previous roles. Prior to transitioning into software development, I spent seven years at O’Doherty’s Audio and Video Productions, where I led the VT Department. During this time, I implemented innovative archiving and media production solutions, demonstrating both leadership and a knack for process optimization.
I am passionate about leveraging my technical expertise, collaborative skills, and industry experience to develop innovative software solutions while continuously expanding my knowledge and capabilities.
